SEND Adventures

Summer Adventure Camp is proud to be working with Brighton and Hove City Council on its SEND Short Breaks programme which we offer at Cardinal Newman School. This part of a wider programme of delivery by B&HCC which offers offer high-quality short breaks to meet different needs in partnership with parent carers and colleagues in the voluntary sector.

Our SEND Adventures programme allows children to participate in a wider group adventure but with the option to experience the adventure in a 1:1 or 1:2 setting where needed.

At 'Summer Adventure Camp' we recognise that choosing who you entrust to look after your child is an important decision, you want to know that the people you choose will care for your child, keep them safe and help them grow and learn. 

Of course our OFSTED registration is a great 1st step to helping you choose us, as is the our work with B&HCC to deliver the HAF programme and the SEND short breaks programme as well as working in West Sussex delivering the HAF programme.

However it is our belief that our success, and most important to you, is our commitment to choosing those staff that are specialists in their area, this starts from the company directors and camp manager ( see our team ) through to all the staff that will be looking after your child on a day to day basis. 

We have recruited SEND specialist staff that will deliver  1:1 and 1:2 specific bookings,  this is so that the children will have dedicated care and support for the duration of their time at the club with the flexibility of being able to undertake the activities either as part of a larger group, or on a 1:1 basis or to take a break completely into a calm space.  This will allow the children to access our key aims of  #Fun #Friendship #Adventure in a way that meets their needs.
