Summer Holiday Activities and Food Programme

Summer Adventure Camp is working with West Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council to put on Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme during the summer holidays. It is for school children aged 6 to 16 who receive benefits-related free school meals.

The programme is partly funded by the Department for Education and children and young people will be able to enjoy a programme of enriching activities, as well as have a free nutritional meal as part of the scheme. Marcus Rashford, MBE is supporting the programme.

 The summer activities will provide:

  • healthy and nutritious meals for all children attending
  • a wide range of fun and enriching activities
  • education around healthy eating and preparing food
  • information and advice for parents and carers
  • a safe space for children to interreact with others.

If your children are in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM), they can participate in the clubs and activities for free.
